I recently saw an ad on one of my pages leading to Project Payday. Project payday is an online money making scheme. I usually don't like 'make money fast' ads on my sites because most of them are scams. I decided to check this one out to see if I should filter it off my site.

After I read up on it, ultimately it is not a scam, but it is a complicated process if you want to make some money off of it. It is a way to make money off of incentive freebie websites (IFW). These are sites that give you 'free' stuff after you sign up and complete a certain number of offers, plus get a few other people to sign up and also complete offers.

Project Payday shows you how to exploit these IWF websites. There are two ways of doing this.

The first way has you signing up through somebody's referral link and they pay you to fulfill the required amount of trial offers at an IFW. It's called "going green". You don't have to refer anyone to make money with this way. All you have to do is complete the trial offer at the IFW and they pay you through paypal. (example below) I was surprised after joining Project Payday that there were 3 main forums where all these deals are set up. This community of people is what makes the whole Project Payday concept work. Here is an example of doing this method.

You join one of these trading forums after studying Project Payday. Then you see someone who says "Paying $18 on green" Answer this post and tell them you are interested. They will send you the link to sign with and they also will set up the deal in the trade manager of the forum. Then you follow the link and sign up for that specific freebie site. Most sites require you to get at least 1 credit worth of offers. Most offers are worth 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, or 1 credit.

Here is an example of a typical trial offer: 'Sign up for a $5.99 10-day trial of our xyz product'. You have an $18 green offer, lets say you do two 1/2 credit offers to fulfill your 1 credit. One is $3.99 and the other you pay $5.95. Your out $10, but you got paid $18. If you decide to keep your trial product then you will pay more, resulting in this whole concept being pointless. After you complete the required offers you obtain a green status and you are paid by the person you worked out a deal with. He makes money too because he is being paid $20-30 for a referral. (explained in method two)

The second method has you on the other side, and you get paid for people you refer. These IWF websites offer cash prizes. An example is a 250 dollar prize for 5 referrals (or $50 per referral). So you then need to get 5 people to go green for you. On the trading forums provided by Project Payday you can find a few people looking to go green for cash. If you be generous and pay them $25 each to go green, you will end up making a $125 profit when you cash out your $250 prize.

The second method is better than mthe first way because you don't have to use your credit card over and over, although you do have to complete at least a few offers in order to fulfill part of the requirements for the prize, or cash if you're in this to make money. Method two has more long term potential then method one, but it still requires constant effort like a job.

Overall it takes alot of time and effort to make money this way. You have to be super organised as well to make sure you don't forget to cancel any of the free trials before they start to charge you.

Is project payday a scam? No, not really. You can probably make a few bucks with it if you do the work and find people to sign up under you. But ultimately it will become very tedious and you will probably stop fairly quickly
