This weekend I noticed some blue pen ink on my microfiber couch, which happens to be light beige. It was an ink line of about two inches, nad another little line of about half inch. Obviously I was not happy. Anyway, I did a little research to see what the best way to remove the ink stain would be. Apparently, using purell, or an alcohol based hand washing product would work, so I tried it. I put some on the ink stain. At first it looked like the stain got worse, but then as the alcohol evaporated, the blue ink was almost completely gone. After it had dried, I put a little more on to get the rest out. It is important not to rub the microfiber to remove the stain. This will only get the ink to settle into the fibers more. Just use a paper towel and dab lightly to help remove the stain. It totally worked. I wish I had taken pictures before so I could put them up to show you here. I would love to hear your comments regarding this issue.
